The Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility addition and renovation project implements a change from the traditional, institutional model of nursing home care to a more contemporary, home-like care environment in a “neighborhood” setting that generates a feeling of community, care, and respect. The addition provided the facility with 31 private resident rooms and a large activities room for social interaction and connection. Additionally, the interior finishes in the existing resident rooms were upgraded providing residents, and caregivers, with a warm and welcoming living space.

Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility intends to complete additional renovations in the near future to update existing corridors, the main kitchen, and the business office area and create two neighborhood kitchens and dining rooms in existing “neighborhoods.”
