Borgess Gardens is an 81-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility was designed to create connected neighborhoods of 10-bed cottages organized around an enclosed exterior courtyard with its own unique garden. The cottages are comprised of predominately private resident rooms with a centrally located warming kitchen that is capable of serving meals in an intimate and pleasant environment.

The cottage exteriors are residential in appearance and have their own unique character while maintaining a consistency to convey the concept of an inter-connected campus. The garden theme was also incorporated into the interior of the facilities connecting residents with nature through the interior finishes and furnishings. The connectivity of gardens to cottages to neighborhoods results in a community and family atmosphere that provides residents with a sense of independence, comfort, and respect.
