Bone & Joint

Along with creating a handsome flagship facility for an established and respected orthopedic practice, this new construction project also provides the opportunity for the client to offer expanded services to their patients.

The facility is built partially into a steeply sloping hill on a wooded site, and is clad in oversize concrete brick. A prominent two-story glass wall and sun-shade drop off canopy mark the entrance and waiting area, allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the building to provide visual and physical warmth to the space. Warm wood and earth tones in the interior finishes complement the exterior architectural detailing, while echoing the natural surroundings and sense of bringing the outdoors into the space.

The space includes a clinic, ambulatory surgery center, MRI room, two x-ray rooms, two operating rooms, one minor procedure room, administrative/office spaces, and a physical therapy suite. All are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment that supports advanced medical technology and enhances the talents of the dedicated staff. The new facility is the first highly specialized, full-service orthopedic and musculoskeletal care center of its type in central Wisconsin and is designed to optimize the experience of patients and staff alike.
